# Lizzie Borden?

Zombie or no, here is a play about Lizzie, where the playwright promotes a (not original) theory that Bridget, the maid, was responsible. True or not, it’s an engaging play.

The playwright, William Norfolk, used the fact that Lizzie was close friends with itinerant actors, and fantasizes a story where the actors stop by the Borden household on a social visit. They can’t help but ask questions, leading to a spontaneous re-enactment of the trial, guided by Lizzie and her sister.
