I would think that this does the reverse, it is Billy Graham the one that gets discredited. Even more than when his ability to mask his true feelings toward Jews was exposed in recently released Nixon tapes. ---

I think I understand the OP. Billy Graham, once confidant of Presidents, in his last days, surrounded by panderers, opportunists and sycophants. Yeah, it’s undignified for Graham. ---

Why should I care what Fred Clark has to say? I’ve never heard of him and he sounds like an asshole for taking cheap shots at someone who has luckily lived a long life. ---

Dude is apparently under the impression that everyone here hated Graham. Now, if this were his son, perhaps. But Billy Graham is one of the few evangelicals that is often actually praised on this board. ---

I don’t really understand Fred Clark’s insistence that Billy Graham’s legacy has been hijacked by his son. Billy Graham has always been a right wing asshole, and this hero worship Clark has for him is really kind of embarrassing. But I agree, he looks good for 95.
