**Moral - Criticise me all you want.** That is ok. But for some reason I don’t like being called ‘dickhead’ and ‘moron’ and I don’t like my posts being refered to as bullshit and pathetic. So that sticky of Lobsangs sensetivities would contain just one item “Don’t call Lobsang harsh names - for some reason he doesn’t like it” And **kambuckta** please don’t read this as another criticism of you. I am just posting this to let everyone to know that I DON’T take issue with criticism. Just with being called names. ---

The original OP was dumb. It was a bad idea. It was poorly thought out. Trust me, we’ve all had one of those threads. However, I have to say, **Lobsang** your reaction to **kambucta** point that out was rediculously over the top. She didn’t like your thread. There was no mention of you. No discussion of your lack of merit. No reference to your mental abilities or lack thereof. She just didn’t like the OP. Get over it. And get over this. Really. Go for a walk. Read a book. **alice\_in\_wonderland** I know the OP was dumb. I admit my reaction to **kambucta** was OTT (although it was partly an act - as I have established) If you had been paying attention **alice\_in\_wonderland** you would have seen that it was not **kambucta** ’s dislike of my op that I had an issue with. It was the unnecessary namecalling. I appreciate your trying to help **alice\_in\_wonderland** but really, being told to get over things (as If I am under them) is starting to get on my nerves! ---

T. Lobsang Rampa was the pseudonym used by an Irish fellow named Hoskins living in England, a plumber who had never been outside the British Isles in his life. He published a series of books claiming that he was a Tibetan Bud **dh** ist\* monk and relating all kinds of occult wonderworking that supposedly went on in Tibet. He described scenes from Tibet that were entirely the products of his imagination, which had nothing to do with actual Buddhism or Tibet. He made up some cock and bull story to account for his being in England, something about teleporting his mind into the body of this guy in England. You would think nothing could be more pathetically ludicrous, that no one would fall for such obviously fabricated hokum, but apparently the publisher was able to keep his books in print for many years. Which means the books were actually selling, hard as that is to swallow. So while I diss him here for the phony he is, nevertheless he laughed all the way to the bank. When the explorer Alexandra David-Neel asked a real Tibetan Buddhist lama for advice on a book she was planning to write about genuine Tibetan Buddhist doctrines, he was dubious: "I do not know much about Europeans, but I suppose they are just like Tibetans, or the people I have met from China and India. **When you speak to them of profound truths, they yawn and change the subject. **kambuckta** , if you’d pitted this chappie in the first bloody instance, I wouldn’t have done any “condemning” of you. Frankly, given some of his more recent reactions, it definitely deserved the pitting. And yeah, you’ve hit th’ nail on th’ head here. Well done.
