I submitted two paintings to the Independence Home Days art show. Dan had to drop them off for me because I am in New Hampshire. The reception (for the artists) is tonight and Dan called me from there and said that [Under Cover](http://gallery.opalcat.com/gallery/Ink/under_cover) won **3rd place** in the juried awards and [Being Art](http://gallery.opalcat.com/gallery/being_art/being_art_day16) won **Best in Show**! The show is this weekend (for the public) and there is a whole second set of “people’s choice” awards that get voted on at that time. I won’t be in town for the show at all, which sucks, but he took some pictures with his phone at the reception. This is the second year in a row that I’ve won Best in Show at this show! :happydance: ---

Hardy har har 😛 I could have entered a third one, actually, but the entry fee was double for the big one (anything over 4’ is double) and I didn’t want to spend a lot of money. ---
