Also, Crazytown. I hope they go back to Bermuda or Asia or wherever the fuck they were from. 90’s rock with ‘token black guy’: King’s X. Who, incidentally, rocked harder than many bands I can name off the top of my head. VCO3, what do you consider “good” music? Local H may not be awesome or even a step above mediocre, but they suck far less than a lot of other, shittier, bands. ---

In the early days, Soundgarden also had an Asian guy (bassist Hiro Yamamoto). Does Rage Against the Machine count? I know they’re not proper alternative, but to my knowledge, nobody was using the term “rap metal” when they came out. They certainly had a black guy. ---

He wasn’t saying that - he was addressing the musical styles in reference to sevendust being a metal band rather than an “alternative” band. It was a sort of “pick the one that doesnt’ belong” illustration that had nothing to do with race. ---

Is it wrong that I have two Local H songs on my car MP3 mix: Bound for the Floor and California Songs (the better of the two)? I don’t know enough about the rest of their music to hate them, but I liked what I heard. (And fuck New York too) ---

The only two songs I know from them are **Bound to the floor** which I love, and **All the kids are right** which I hate, so I guess I’m 50/50 about them. ---
