Bought this on black friday at best buy. I noticed when i use the scroll wheel to go up and down, theres a squeaky sound thats very annoying. I had many wireless mouse before and never had this. Does anyone know why this is happening? Mouse is brand new when i got it. It seems to squeak when i go up with the scrollwheel not when it goes down. ---

First isolate whether the squeak is mechanical in the scroll wheel, or an internal computer sound, or coming through your speakers. Then get back to us. ---

The scrollwheel on the mouse squeaks when i go up. You can go up or down with it. I have used wireless logitech mouses and regular wired mouses before. Yes every mouse does make it sound when you use the scrollwheel but this squeaking sound im talking about it that type where it squeaks… its those squeaking noises that are very annoying. Im not sure how to explain it. Like imagine you are scratching a table and it has that squeaking noise that is unbearable to the ear. Does that make sense what i mean by that? Its not my laptop. I have 2 other mouse that i use… one is a logitech m505 mouse i have and the only reason i bought another mouse is b/c that mouse scrollwheel no longer works. Also the clicking button has few issue. My other mouse is an old dell wired mouse. There isn’t this unbearable squeaking sound to it when you move the scrollwheel. ---

Are you sure it’s not more of a squeal? And check to be sure it’s the scroll wheel and not the scrotum you’re twisting. ---

It shouldn’t squeak. I have several of these and they’re all quiet. Just send/take it back and get it replaced. ---

im curious but what color is the m310 mouse u have? Mine is grey. Theres 3 colors, black , blue and grey. ---

_Dude._ Just take it back and either get a refund or a replacement. It squeaks because it’s defective. Hopefully you kept your receipt.
