Sweet. Devine. Jebus. I’m tired. This weekend rocked like a bag of stones. Lno, you can count yourself amongst the luckiest people in the world when I say that you spend some of the evening tucked between Tansu’s breasts. We have photo evidence. Obi, it appears that you missed me in your list. I have taken suitable affrontage to that and will demand a lightsabre duel at the next fest. Gartog, remind me at the next fest to bring a dishcloth, and we shall have a chicken. ---

It was all over far, far too quickly. I didn’t get to speak to enough people (partly because I’m too lazy to get up and mingle, and partly because it was actually frigging difficult to climb out of the pew style pub seat I had). I’m not proud of smoking those couple of fagorettes, but God they tasted good. **Francesca** is all kinds of fabulous and wonderful. **Anahita** is lovely. **jr8** is a sweet, furry little chap. **hibernicus** was as delightful as ever. **kabbes** is Amazing Beer Carrying Man, who appears without warning to help carry beer from bar to table. And he nestled **lno** to his bosom, too. **Steve Wright** is a top, top bloke, and far too good for Oxford. **TwistofFate** is a nutster. I can’t think of anything pertinent to say about anyone else right now. This is because I am tired. Ladies, please back me up on this - was the ladies’ piss shop in the Silver Cross not absolutely enormous? More cubicles than normal for a pub toilet, surely. Or is it just my skewy provincial ideas playing tricks with me? Instead of the beer scooter, I got home on the Fortuitous Bus, this being a number 24, which pulled up at a bus stop directly outside the pub as I walked out. The 24 wends its happy bussy way to Pimlico via Victoria and down Belgrave Road, upon which my hotel was situated. Almost door to door service, therefore it rained not upon me. I love buses. London was once again far too warm for me, and I am glad to get back to the more temperate north. ---

Hey - that was **Steve’s** round. He bought it, I just carried it. I wouldn’t like to take credit for that.
