My guess is that you are, and view yourself as, a patriotic American who thinks the war was a mistake. Many people think that without falling into one of the categories mentioned. Why is it so difficult to place yourself there? Finally, it seems, as you state, that your annoyance is with these labels themselves and how they’ve been weilded. Do you think that there are zero people in the U.S. that world fall into the groups he mentioned?
