No, I prefer short hair. Long hair on men is unappealing to me. Hair a few inches long, indie rocker style is cool. Buzz cuts feel nice. ---

Ferrous has good taste… there’s nothing sexier than a woman with short hair, especially if it’s a buzz-cut… mmmmm… doesn’t look good on all women, but those that actually do it more than once are usually the ones that it just improves their look 700% ---

As a guy with long hair(mid back) I just have to ask what is it with women wanting to braid guy’s(or at least my) hair. There are lots of girls running around with long hair but I never see them attack each other. But at half the time I’m in a bar some girl asks to braid my hair. My friends are bad enough but it’s kinda wierd when a complete stranger comes up, starts playing with my hair and asking if I mind them braiding. And the worst part is they’re not flirting. They’re usually married or have their boyfriend at their table, they just really wanna play with my hair. ---

I hope so, as I’m growing my hair long at the moment. 🙂 At the moment it’s not much past my ears (except at the back where it is, of course, longer). I think it looks quite good, with two caveats: 1. It must be well-kept. Long, greasy, hair? Ewww. 2. Balding and long hair is a real no. Maybe it can be well done, but I’ve never seen it. Certainly if the hair is mostly grey it looks really awful. ---

Depends on the guy- some men look silly with long hair. I am, however, **much** more attracted to long-haired guys. Oh, and I have a good friend who’s balding and has long hair. Amazingly, it looks good on him- he’s kind of an ex-hippie artsy photographer, 50ish, and looks kind of like an Aragorn/Gandalf cross. It _can_ work. ---

I had mine long until this year… yep, balding and long do NOT go together. When the balding increases, i’m probably going to give in to it and go real short. Grampa had a shiny dome surrounded by vigourous white hair halfway up. I think I’ll prefer bbald all over. ---

Mmmm…I had such a crush on this guy who was in a creative writing class of mine. He was 6’3" or 6’4", broad but not huge, & had straight, well-kept, dark blond hair that hung down to the middle of his back. He usually wore it in a ponytail, but a few times, he wore it loose. Wow. Funny enough, I didn’t really become infatuated until he made some comment in class that I thought was brilliant; after that, I noticed how handsome he was, started to talk with him, & became putty in his hands. Unrequited putty, but oh well. That having been said, I’m also a fan of shaved heads, depending on the guy. Toned guys (\*big or not, though I seem to run to big these days) with shaved heads & goatees are heaven to me. Tasty treats. 😃 \*By “big”, I mean guys who’re tall & broad, not guys who spend too much time at the gym. I like nice overall muscle tone, but some guys definitely go overboard. : ---

This is an overwhelmingly positive response. I had hair down my back in college, but now I’m finally growing it long again. Why do the conservative right-wing fundamentalist Christians, and Mormons, insist so vehemently on men having short hair? Look at their idols—Jesus Christ and the Founding Fathers of the United States: all men with long hair. For that matter, what’s with all the fundamentalist Muslims and their buzz cuts? Considering that Prophet Muhammad wore his hair down to his shoulders. Something’s _wrong_ with those guys. 😕 Well, in the words of Jimi Hendrix, _I’m gonna let my freak flag fly_. And women — Nothing drives me into paroxysms of aesthetic ecstasy faster than ultra-long-hair women. Especially the Indian ones. Ladies, please, _please_ grow your hair all the way down below your butt! I kiss the ground you walk on! I just like long hair all the way around, on everybody. ---

Actually, I would have better stated in my post that I trim the bangs at about eyebrow level and comb it straight back, which adds about 4" to my height. Part of the length in the back always wants to come around front to about armpit length. The rest stays in the back. Add trimmed beard and moustache. Back to your point, it all depends on one’s definition of a mullett, I guess. Some of the less evolved types around my work seem to think any guy with long hair has a mullet. Methinks that definition a bit over-inclusive. When I think of a mullet, I think of a guy with short to medium spiky, clean-cut hair on the top and sides and a little long in the back, maybe over the collar length or somewhat longer but such that you really cannot tell it’s long from the front. “All business in the front, party in the back.” Definitions vary, of course, but most “in the know” would probably not call my hairstyle a mullett. Hippy or freak, though, at least once a week. ---

I have just under butt-length hair- I don’t think it gets any longer than that on me. I’ve been growing it for eight years, and I think it’s stopped. I would **love** to have knee-length hair. Sigh… ---
