To me it seems like more of a rock and roll thing. Most rockers have long hair and it seems cool. Of course, the younger you are, the better you look with long hair. What gets me is old men who have long hair, with a big bald spot on the top! Uck. ---

I had long hair until recently, when I shaved my head in a drunken binge. My hair grows like kudzu, though, so it’ll be back soon enough. ---

I dont’ really care for guys with long hair, as a rule, but I make exceptions. Like, dark hair, in a ponytail, curly and reaching to no longer than mid-back, that’s damn sexy. Unruly masses of silken blonde remind me of what I cut off to get the haircut i currently have and I get hair envy; not good.
