# Long John Silver's Onion Rings

Who knew??

I had not been to LJS in quite a while and today I was hungry for some fish. While going thru the drive through, I saw that they now have onion rings. At first, I was like…:dubious: and then, feeling adventurous, thought ‘what the hell?’

Oh… My… God… they are WONDERFUL! Real onions, dipped in the same crispy batter they use on their fish. Unbelievably delicious!

I almost wish I had not discovered them because this could become an addiction, and healthy they are not.

Has anyone else tried them?

I have not tried them, but I like the ones that Hardees is selling and I don’t normally like onion rings that much.

Yeah, Hardee’s are good too, but these… these are heaven. I have always loved the batter they use on their fish and this is just… _sigh_

Best onion rings I’ve ever eaten were at Porky’s drive-in in MPS/SP. I believe the recipe has been posted on the Internet.

I haven’t eaten at a LJS for years, but I do seem to recall they _were_ pretty good. Crunchy and not the massive half an onion monsters that places are turning out these days.
