Back from the mid-month stockage trip to the grocers. Managed to get everything I needed in one stop, but forgot to mail the bills… I blame the constant rain, it’s been coming down pretty good since 0800 and doesn’t show signs of stopping yet, so I was distracted (that’s my story and I’m sticking to it). Never had mice (or growing things) in my car to the best of my knowledge. **FCM** , you can’t lose anything you didn’t have in the first place… Take care y’all. ---

The funeral for the relative I discussed a while back is happening as I write this so I’m pretty much by my self as my disabled cousin is in her room watching barney and is hibernatin cause of the rain Comptemplatin mischief atm… The great flood of 19 is on and off so can’t do much outside was informed I’m getting hauled off to the gym like it or not…let’s see how long it lasts this time ---

We have snow. I was sitting at the table chopping cabbage, looked out the window, and there it is. Cabbage soup is simmering, my fingers are stained purple. Tacos are on, my son can take over there. He’s supposed to vacuum the kitchen. ---

Y’all remember a week ago when I got into it with that horrible bitch? Well today she gave notice when she found out she was being moved and the Director told her to go today and we will pay her for the two weeks. She is that horrible. This was the bright spot in my day. Home and tahred. I need this three day weekend coming up. But first I must get through tomorrow. More of that yummy soup for supper tonight so this is easy enough. I have two more episodes of _The Crown_ to watch then the long wait for a new season. Y’all stay warm. ---

Howdy Y’all! I had a busier day than expected. EYP texted me and wanted to get together about stuff for this weekend. He’s been great in catchin’ me up. I met him at the church house at one p.m. We talked for two solid hours. When we both realized it was just after three we were surprised cause it did not seem that long. Anywho, since I was already there I took care of candle duty and won’t have to worry about that when I get back late Sattidy afternoon. Yay for that. Sup has been ingested. Readin’ for this weekend is done. I shall now chill. ---

It was a nice 40F and dry when I walked Nelson at 5:15 this morning. By the time I left for irk at 6:50, it was raining cats and dogs ( I know, I almost stepped in a poodle! 😛 ). It’s been an Ey-ore day around here. Well, crap. Just got a call from my SIL, Brother is in the hospital with an irregular heartbeat, doctors think it might have been a small stroke (no brain bleeding or paralysis, but some trouble speaking). Too late to start up there tonight but depending on her report tomorrow I may head up that way. He’s 64 and shouldn’t be having these problems. Damn. ---

Whenever I mention to my friends that I made cabbage they always say, I love cabbage, _I don’t know why I don’t make it more often._ What is there not to love about cabbage? You can bake it, fry it, boil it, stuff it, eat it raw, make cole slaw. I know why I don’t, because it’s such a pain in the ass to cut up. My mother called. I’m probably not going to the armpit this weekend. Anyway, the doc told her she is done with PT, but he wants her to see a neurologist because she is a bit wobbley, and he also wants her to use two canes. I said why two canes, wouldn’t a walker be easier? Get one of the new ones that let you stand upright instead of bent over. **Red** - I don’t know if Adam would eat Velveeta. He’s pretty finicky. The only people food he seems to like is chicken and tuna. Sometimes ham. I made pork chops the other night and he was very interested in them, I cut him a little piece, he licked it a few times and walked away. I might try butter. A cat I used to sit would take her pill if I put it in a little melted butter. Now Ripple on the other hand, all I have to do is pretend I’m eating it and he will eat it. He didn’t like his heart worm and flea pills until he thought I was eating them. Yet he’ll wake up out of a sound sleep if he hears me unwrap a cough drop. ---

Good Morning Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis 55 Amurrkin out and cloudy (well, dark) with a predicted high of 67 and rain this afternoon/evenin’. In Augusta, Jawja, where I am headed this mornin’ ‘tis 44 Amurrkin and cloudy with a predicted high of 61 and cloudy for the day. Rain will start there tonight and be’ there all day tomorrow. Rain is also predicted here for tomorrow. No matter cause I will be inside listenin’ to CDI stuff and/or gettin’ kicked out. 😃 Pity poor EYP, he has to sleep in the same room as me tonight. I may or may not post again before tomorrow evenin’. My means of intartoobz communication will be my phone which I find a pita to use for postin’ here. Never fear, I shall say howdy on the book of faces cause it’s way easier to do so there. **{{{MetalMouse and bro}}}** hope bro will be okay and better today. Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, alas and alack, I must commence to purtify and don appropriate bein’ an adult and good Whiskypalian attire and ride for about four hours. Ick! I have deemed appropriate clothin’ to be shirt, jeans, and comfy shoes. I doubt anybody else will be dressed much better except maybe Clergy who will wear Clerical collars no doubt. Happy Firday! Yesterday’s snow didn’t amount to much. It’s a chilly 28 degrees outside, supposed to get up to 43. Snow still predicted for tomorrow. I woke too early at 5am. Showered and dressed and waiting for \*\*FCD \*\*to finish the same. Then we’re going out for some breakfast and he has to drop off some pieces to be anodized. So chores can be put off for a while. 😃 Apparently a few flakes fell last night, but this morning, it’s just wet and melty outside. Much rain is forecast. I feel like we’re swampier than **swampy**! ---
