# Long time lurker comes to life

Hi
I have been reading the dope since I got on aol in 97, and I have been lurking the SDMB on and off for a long time. I finally decided to cough up the dough(well, I will in the next couple weeks), find a useless but hopefully witty username, and start posting here.
Im a warranty manager at a large motorcycle dealer, and I have interests in just about everything. Im not sure what else new members should offer up?
I hope to have many wonderful posts and responses here among so many like minded folk.

on and off for years. so I must have missed the pie bit. Banana or chocolate mouse? I admit I have plenty of chocolate at my humble abode (my GF considers it a food group).

I couldnt figure out a good username till yesterday, spent a good hour playing with the anagram website trying ideas built from naughty phrases, but the weirdest one didnt quite make sense, so instead of “inflicting luck”, I chose a pop culture reference. Im actually kind of surprised it wasnt already taken.

Now that’s just weird… after being an avid SD reader and forum lurker for quite a while myself, I finally decided to start up a guest account until I could pony up the fifteen bucks for a membership… all this taking place about 10 minutes prior to your post. :dubious:

Its actually not all that witty, but I was happy it was available. Have you ever watch Futurama? I think it might be required television for nerds. There was a great scene where the professor was describing how parots were intelligent and could be trained to talk, and Bender says" Like Fry", which Fry dutifully responds “Like Fry, Like Fry”. Anyway, doesnt seem that funny here, definately not witty, but I find it humorous when watching it.

for the record, it could also be a very small pie, but still messy.
It’s kinda squishy at first, but you get used to it.

You can’t be told any of the details until it actually happens.
(And what happens at the initiation means that you won’t be able to tell anyone else about it. But it’s usually not fatal).

Hmmmmm, ok. But, it better not be fatal, as I just came to life and all, and my boss is expecting me to finish the 4in stack of paperwork I need to file with the manufacturer. Though if I dont finish, I think it might be better if the initiation is fatal…
