# Longest pair of back-to-back win/loss streaks

I heard that the Red Sox recently made MLB history by losing 10 straight, then winning 7 straight. Has a longer streak like this happened in another sport?

During the radio broadcast on Sunday the announcers stated that a win would tie the record. Originally set by Pittsburgh in the forties and another team in 1989. Don’t know about other sports.
