Just curious, seeing “Guy Stuff” approach the 800 mark, it looks like there is room for 3 or 4 more pages at the top. Is there a limit to pages? What is the longest thread you have seen and how many posts were in it? * * * Wishing all you at the SDMB Happy Xmas and a GREAT 2000 and beyond! ---

500 yards, and I didn’t see any posts near it. Oh, you mean the MB thread! The “Guy Stuff” thread in MPSIMS is almost 800, that’s the biggest I seen so far. ---

This really belongs in MPSIMS or About This Message Board, but the longest thread ever on this board, as far as I know, is the infamous “The earth is flat, I read in the paper” thread in Great Debates. It went over 1000 and I finally had to lock it up because it was just too big and slow. ---
