Which means it’s almost lunchtime! Which means, after lunch, only 4 more hours til it’s time to go home! Anyone else bored out of their mind at work today? ---

[/QUOTE] I wish I had time to be bored this morning. I’ve been peeking at the dope in-between phone calls, which have been pretty thick today. I _am_ looking forward to lunch though, and even moreso to leaving. ---

[/QUOTE] I always get really excited when the clock turns to 11 because I know that lunch is soon forthcoming and then after that it’s a straight shot till 4:30 when I can go home. Feeling sick today at work though, so I got permission to leave work at noon. That’s nice too 😛 ---

I’ve been trying to get out of the office all morning. But important stuff has been coming up. Now it’s 11:19 and I’m going to lunch. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get out in the field later in the afternoon. ---

Yup. Today is going slooooooooowwwwwwly. I am very tired. My fault though-I stayed up late watching the Phillies-Giants game. But it was worth it. ---

It’s only 9:40 here and very, very dull. Dr. Boss is out of town. The other researchers are at a conference, so I’m here alone. I’d like to sneak out early, but Mouse\_Spouse is working from home today and I don’t want to disturb him. ---

Sounds like somebody has a case of the _Mondays._ (Sorry, but it had to be said.) I, on the other hand, leisurely awoke at approx. 2 PM, and have nothing to do until 5 PM, when I go to work. ---

This is one of the few days that I’m very glad to be at work. I was told I would be getting an offer for the job I’ve been wanting. Which happily means that I don’t have to join the union that has managed to sink it’s claws into my current job classification. ---

I wish I’d had a computer available at work today to make a very similar post. I work in the campus’s fanciest dining hall and a sizable chuck of the student population has finished exams and gone home. Those that remain are in Flex Dump mode (trying to use all the money that’s left over on their Flex meal plans before they leave.) The result is that we were incredible unbusy, but the orders we did get were huge (one girl came in and ordered $50 worth of raw ribeye steak and $50 worth of marinated flank steak.) It was so slow and so dull this morning that I thought I’d fall asleep at the register a few times. ---

Today went fast for me – 12-6, no lunch break necessary (paid by the hour) not too busy, but all the Dope-surfing I can take! ---
