Check out [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=233717), where I am the last poster.

But if you look at the [forum listing](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=3&daysprune=2&sortorder=&sortfield=lastpost&perpage=50&pagenumber=2), it shows **KP** as the last poster (but the posting time reflects the time of my post)

The boards have been really flaky the last few days - lots of missing OPs, lots of double posts, many instances of post count and last post indexes not being updated. Possibly indicative of a forthcoming outage.

Start stockpiling tinned food and weapons now.

I’d see a thread with 3 replies and the last poster was **Joe Bloggs**. I’d open it, there’d be 6 replies with the last one being by **John Doe**. I’d go back out, and refresh the forum page, still 3 replies, still **Joe Bloggs**
