Bad things happen because shit happens. It ain’t your fault, it’s your turn. That’s kinda the way I view life and emphsize. “God’s planners” piss me off, “Sunny Suzie is irritating” and “one upmanship tales of woe” brings out the worst in me. ---

My MIL passed away 2 days before our first son was born. I was seriously on the verge of losing it if one more person tried to comfort us with that stupid expression. ---

Everything does happen for a reason. It just isn’t the reason they want to think it is. The tire went flat because it picked up a nail. Not because someone was punishing you by making it flat. You had a heart attack because you weren’t taking care of yourself or your heart was weak, not because God wanted to send you a sign. **So look on the bright side!** It isn’t an asshole God out there fucking with you to teach you lessons!
