Are there any stories or movies out there that defy the “This is the best of all possible worlds, so don’t fuck with it!” trope and tell a tale of meddling(either accidentally or on purpose) gone right?

I’m 50 this year. I’ve written a couple of short film scripts for film school, but nothing more than that. I’ve gotta a lifetime of experience and a copy of Fade In that I haven’t opened in a year.

Time to finally write that movie script. This thread has gotten me fired up.

…I’ve just started working on a script. And I’ll probably never finish it, and nobody will ever read it, and it will never go into production.

BUT…on the ever-so-tiny chance that it does, then yes, you will have your movie of meddling gone right
