Does such a thing exist ?

Need one for drinks (not food) to keep them cold or hot.

All I could find are round which is not convenient to carry in a flattish bag.

Gone trough all links on the first [page](https://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=flat+thermos&gws_rd=cr,ssl&ei=hkQyVZ2tHsbhaoSygIgM) …
no joy.

There are several insulated flasks which can help keep things cold with double walled construction, but I’m not sure they’re actual vacuum systems like a Thermos. I don’t know if they help keep things warm; they’re marketed to runners and hikers to keep water cool.

And this one is even flatter, being a hip flask shape, but it only holds 5 ounces, thanks to the freezer gel lining: [http://giftedliving.com/deer-season-mossy-oak-camo-freezable-insulated-flask?origin=product-search&kwd=&mr:referralID=2465d5a7-e5c7-11e4-82f7-001b2166c2c0&gclid=CjwKEAjwgcipBRDgxK\_3ztrBty8SJACRuv4djteB1kJPeziH43ntJBR0bCznJK0t-jLS09mtCLQ3GBoCRZXw\_wcB](http://giftedliving.com/deer-season-mossy-oak-camo-freezable-insulated-flask?origin=product-search&kwd=&mr:referralID=2465d5a7-e5c7-11e4-82f7-001b2166c2c0&gclid=CjwKEAjwgcipBRDgxK_3ztrBty8SJACRuv4djteB1kJPeziH43ntJBR0bCznJK0t-jLS09mtCLQ3GBoCRZXw_wcB)

How about an [insulated canteen](http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-THIRSTMATE-CANTEEN-TRAIL-BOSS-/361207009622)? I have a '90s version of the same model, double-walled and the cap has a vacuum seal.

Thanks for your ideas, but those are not exactly what I had in mind.
Appreciate.
