Ross wanted to confess his love for Rachel at Central Perk. Before it could leave his lips, Gunther told Rachel how much he’d always loved her, and she replied something like “Oh, that’s so nice of you.” Ross noted how she’d shot Gunther down and delayed his profession of love until the end of the episode.

Yeah, fantasizing about pulling out a machine gun and blowing the guy away was a real excellent way of showing how well he was taking it.

Fools fantasize about lots of things but then do nothing. The last we see of Lloyd, he’s moved on with his stoopid life.
