Not so far. I have been feeding suggestions – from SDMB and other sources – to the daughters and the important decisions are up to them. Since I am not a part of the family, I can’t take control; I can only advise. I talked to the one daughter who visited a few weeks ago, and I think she is up to speed on the technology, but there is considerable resistance from the elderly parties who are used to doing things themselves, their own way. They won’t readily change their habits. Meanwhile, one party fell down, hit her head on the counter, and spent 2 days in the hospital. ---
