# Looking for episode from sci-fi/horror anthology series

I think it was from the 80’s or 90’s. A man is told that he is dying, and he goes to an institute that promises that they will kill him, but only at the happiest moment of his life. They promise that they don’t use drugs for false happiness, but that he will never be happier than he will be right before they kill him.
Any ideas?

Haven’t seen it, but let me guess- He gets a call saying it was a mistake, he’s not really dying, shot of him with a huge joyful smile on his face, and then, bam! Fade to black.

Isn’t an episode of _Amazing Stories_ (which are [available at archive.org](https://archive.org/details/AmazingStories), BTW.)

Don’t recognize the story either. But “Dark Room”, “Night Visions” and “Tales of the Unexpected” might be other lists of episodes to comb through.
