I tried that a few years ago and it was hell but luke warmer. People saying Hi a lot. And people talking past you and not acknowledging anyone trying to join a conversation or start a new one. Exactly like trying to make small talk at a bus stop with you eyes shut. ---

[/QUOTE] I was desperately hoping that someone else that was computer illiterate would come and ask about how to do this. Alas, I must be the only computer illiterate person here. I googled irc client and got a website saying to download a file with different states on it. But then they say all the files are the same, so I was confused. And what do these files do? Then I tried to do a search here but the searches picked up more on the word client than irc. Perhaps I could use a few searching tips also. Anyway, could you please explain what an irc client is and what I have to do to get one? And please consider that I’m pretty computer illiterate, so slow, easy steps would be helpful. Thanks.
