Title pretty much sums it up. After trying somewhat unsuccessfully to rope people I know into reading / critiquing a modern hard-boiled detective novel I’ve written, I turn to the Dope to see if there are those out there who’d be willing to give it a gander and tell me what they think / offer constructive advice. So, who’s game? ---

It was, indeed, my NaNo project. And I have no idea how to make it available for Kindle- if there’s a way you can suggest, I can give that a try. ---

I’ll read it, too, why not? But what kind of criticism are you looking for here? Generic, vague? Pats on the back? Detailed grammar/spellcheck? Or an absolutely honest opnion of the book, with constructive criticism. I’ve volunteer edited before and it’s always good to ask these questions before. How much criticism can you deal with?
