# Looking for music for a bubble themed magic act. Suggestions?

I’m looking for some music. Specifically something that is upbeat and kind of fast tempo, no lyrics if possible. Also it has to be something that would relate to a magic act where I produce soap bubbles. I am asking for suggestions on music that would fit this theme. What do you think?
Mods, if this is better suited for IMHO, please feel free to move this thread.
So what do you think? What would be some good music to use for a bubble themed magic act?

I just recently saw an Argentinian magician at The Magic Castle do a bubble act. Are you him? Or are you ripping him off? (j/k) If memory serves he used a sort of bouncy electronic background music.

No, I’m DEFINATELY not him. And as far as I know, I’m not ripping anyone off. The bubble illusion is one that is commercially available, and the ball manipulation routine is out of the Mark Wilson Course.

[That](http://www.rubylane.com/shops/whitehousetreasures/item/NM-1012) was going to be my suggestion, too. I have it on a 78, not that that does you any good. It’s such a famous song, the sheet music or a recording shouldn’t be hard to find.

Great suggestion1
I did a search on that song and did in fact find 4 different recordings of it, including a 1919 recording by Helen Clark & George Wilton Ballard taken from a Blue Amberol cylinder recording manufactured by the Edison company, and another by the Cockney Rejects in 1999.
**Eve** and **Kalhoun** , you two just gave me a great idea! Thanks for the super suggestion. I have a few details to work out, but basically it will start with the 1919 recording and then switch to the 1999 Cockney Rejects recording.
I will keep you guys posted. You two are awesome!

I’m going to second “Popcorn.” And, if you are looking for lyrics, “Percolator,” by… by…damn, they play this one the radio (early-80s hip-hop if I’m not mistaken) all the time and I can’t recall the artist. Help me out here, “it’s time for the percolator.”

That sounds fabulous! Ain’t the Internet grand? Make sure you clear the copyrights, though. I’ll have to find my recording tonight and see which one it is—early- to mid-1920s, by the sound of it.

Sploosh! by Ozric Tentacles. Starts of with the sound of splashing water, then goes into a very upbeat but still mid-tempo groove. No lyrics, and the song is sweet. Plenty of well spaced changes for the different parts of your act too.
