Um, yeah it turns out I didn’t read the OP carefully enough. I saw “metal” and “Orchestra” but not “little or no lyrics or story”. :o My apologies, I am heavily medicated right now and under a lot of stress. 
I would still recommend the Trans-Siberian Orchestra though, as they do have a lot of great instrumental songs on both Night Castle and Beethoven’s Last Night.
How do you feel about non-English lyrics?
