# Looking for Personal Finance Software for XP

I’m looking to purchase some personal finance software that allows me to attach scanned receipts to line entries.

My main usage will be to keep track of my secret shopping expenses since I believe I can deduct that from the payments I receive from the assignments.

I don’t want to purchase Money or Quicken and find neither will allow this

I have Quicken 2007 and it does allow you to attach receipts to line entries.

You might like the combo of the Neat Receipts Scanner and Software.  
It will do OCR on your receipts and put them in a folder and can create a spreadsheet or expense report.

It does a pretty good job on typical receipts (cash register types) it will recognize credit card vs cash, split out the sales tax, recognize a particular card.

Not a great job on big full page hotel receipts, but if it misses the numbers you can just type in what it did not figure out.
