Looking for something new to do with my 3 mo old daughter.

Can I ask what this is supposed to mean?

Bus, train, or subway, whatever you’ve got locally. My kids have all adored the bus or the train, from an early age.

Yep. He’s a little bit older, but when my friend’s son turned 2, she asked him what he wanted to do for his birthday. He wanted to ride the light rail (a small commuter train in Baltimore). That was it. So they bought a couple of day passes, and rode the light rail end to end all day long. He loved it.

I second swimming - not just splashing around, but get him in a ‘swimming for infants’ course.

Since you’re in CA, you’ve probably heard of kids who don’t know how to swim falling in unattended pools and drowning. At that age, learning to swim is really easy and can be a lifesaving skill.

The Red Cross or the Y should have such courses…

I take my daughter to Murray Callen swim school in PB from around that age and she loves it. I think there is one in Rancho Santa Fe too. Also walking around the mall in a baby bjorn. Well my kid loved that looking at all the people with free legs and arms. Also the beach, zoo, balboa park.
