There’s nothing on that little ledge in front of the rear window of my Saturn. Not one darn thing. Should there be? If so, what? It just looks so… so bare. I feel I’m not being all that I can be regarding interior automobile decoratin’. Oh yeah, and I’m male. 🙂 ---

First of all, here’s my drained-processionals-on-a-cloned-gorse disclaimer: “Anything placed on the shelf inside the rear window should be securely anchored, lest it lop off your ear in a crash.” Well, you could get a Winky The Cat from J.C. Whitney. The eyes of this traditional favorite are wired into the turn signals and brake lights. 😉 Another popular item is a dead bee, bleached by the sun. There’s also the Calvin Peeing on a suction-cup Garfield with a number 3 embroidered on his ample belly and a wee US flag in his paw. ---

Nothing! Nothing should be there except the occasional dead fly. And that shouldn’t be there for more than a week. Interior automobile decoration is SO tacky! ---

Cthulu rides in the front seat next to me. Without a seat belt (he’s such a rebel). Nothing in my back windowledge - then again, I have a station wagon, so there is NO back windowledge. Though I do have a large plastic gecko that sits on the dashboard. You could put a roll of paper towels back there. I always see that in a lot of the older folks’ cars’ back windowledges. ---

Hmmm, this is touch since I don’t have a rear window shelf in my car … Perhaps a bobble head doll velcro’d down. 🙂 Yeah, that’s it… a Chipper Jones Bobble Head. or … you could recreate the skyline of some city back there… and and and … put a little godzilla.
