…Maybe better to be in IMHO… My wife and I are traveling West to “find ourselves” after postponing our honeymoon after my dad died and my mom became a full time ALZ live-in. Pretend we live in Texas and are going West around the Grand Canyon, up into California around the giant trees up near San Fran. We’d like to renew our vows, but have a more “earth and love” type deal. How would one go about finding an officiant? ---

I suggest you contact the Clerk-Recorder’s Office in Marin County. That’s the county in which Muir Woods is located. They will probably know some folks who live in the area, can and will happily act as your officiant. Good luck! What a splendid setting for vow renewal. 🙂 ---

My son might do it. He’s 36 and a rock climber, so instead of being a “surfer bum” he’s a “climber bum”. He’s a really good guy. Unbiased opinion, of course. Want me to check with him? He lives at the south end of San Francisco. ---
