Caroline (nice coworker) just gave me [this](http://www.lavaworld.com/cfm/catalog/productitem.cfm?ProductID=137)! It’s got me hypnotized, like a squirrel with a bright, shiny object. Actually, it looks kinda like a Joan Miró painting come to life . . . ---

Huh. I have the 1973 on my desk and I gave my boss a 1971. I love desk toys. I also have a long glass tube filled with liquid that has an hourglass suspended in it. You turn it over and the hourglass floats slowly to the top as the sand falls to the bottom of the hourglass. Also, a divided cylinder filled with a red viscous substance. You turn it over and the red stuff bloooops through a hole in the middle of the divider. Hypnotic. ---

When I was younger i had to go for a measles jab and i wouldnt let them inject me, i screamed blue murder then they got one of those out and it hyponotised me kinda so while i stared at that i got jabbed. Your desk toy gave me measles immunity. ---

I read the thread title and immediately thought, “Wow, Eve got a [trebuchet](http://www.trebuchet.com/kit/tabletop)”! Much to my chagrin, no trebuchet. But the that thing is also quite cool. I’ll need to throw away all this work on my desk to make room for it. ---

It’s good that Eve didn’t get a Trebuchet. The Pwincess Pwecious would never survive if Eve had a weapon – even a desktop one – in the workplace. 😃 ---
