Here’s a summary of regulatory activity in the US, Europe, and China. Some attempts are being made to prevent or mitigate the worst excesses of current AI. Europe seems to be in the forefront of actually doing something. People continue to be shockingly, depressingly credulous about AI generated images, many of which go viral from some AI Facebook groups I follow.
