There was a young man called Mick, Who wrote a new limerick. Everything went fine, Until he reached the last line And he couldn’t come up with anything contained the correct number of syllables AND rhymed. A chimney sweep pregnant with twins Edit…what, where did that come from? Didn’t notice that the post above was out of order. Guess the next poster’s can take either. I’m reviewing longwinded reports, mostly about torques, torts and tortes, I’d rather read Straight Dope Or TV Tropes ---

_A brief reminder; (just in case we’re about to go off the rails)._ \*\*\*1. Each writer may contribute more than one line per limerick. But these cannot be consecutive. 2. The writer of the first line cannot write the last - unless the thread has gone into hibernation. 3. The writer of the last line earns the right to suggest the first line of the new limerick. (The only time exception to this is again, if the thread becomes dormant). Final thing: When entering a line, try and construct it so that if you had to follow it yourself, you could. In other words, try and avoid painting us into a corner. \*\*\* ---
