This is pure WIFOM, but, We know that Scum Nat threw out a false inv claim to save Astral. Surely it beggars belief that a third scum (Me) would be involved also, just to save a not that powerful scum member? ---

A mass claim probably isn’t going to do a whole lot one way or the other methinks, but if we can narrow the unknown pool even further, we should be able to win fairly easily. ---

BTW, peeker, cucuy wasn’t a newbie. He said that he’s played in one other game modded by Mahaloth, and the statement where he said that implied he’s played in other games as well. ---

A great Night for Town! Isn’t **cucuy** Timmyfellinthewell from Idle? He’s playing in the Halloween game now, right? With the cop and the godfather dead I guess **Meeko** and I are fully confirmed. As I’m already confirmed, I see no harm claiming. I have a semi-mason role which is similar to **Chronos**. I know the identity of another player. I won’t reveal the name or the character at this moment, let’s decide first on how to proceed. ---

Elen síla lúmenn’ omentielvo.[sup]1[/sup] Frodo Baggins at your service. I had two powers, one of which was fairly passive - that I needed to survive until the beginning of Night 6. If I did so, the Ring would be destroyed, and Sauron would “surely die.” The other was the canonical power that Frodo had while wearing the Ring; namely that he became invisible. By putting the Ring on at Night, I could hide from Night actions (except, I suspect, the investigations of Cucuy since Mahaloth referred to Gollum as being able to find the Ring “hidden or unhidden.”) Since both were tied to the Ring, I no longer have those powers. I was a bit worried about my lack of participation in Day 3 and 4; I didn’t want to say _anything_ for fear of slipping up and getting caught out by SAHM. Once we got into day 5, I felt safer, but was still worried about the possibility of a last-ditch Daykill. I nearly did a Peeker and post a link to a Youtube video (Kate Bush’s Running Up That Hill) late on Day 5, but chickened out just in case SAHM were watching for that even unto the last minute. I just looked back on his posts, and I see he mentioned that. So he’s not a newbie, though, I think he’s fairly new when compared to people like NAF who’s played close to 30 games. As far as what you know, my suggestion is that you list the name, and the player of that role claim it, and then you confirm. It’s a bit of a formality with you already being confirmed, and I highly doubt any scum would false claim or do anything else to mess with it, but it’s just a little extra thing to increase the security of the handshake. ---

And apparently, my post is moot after that little cross post. So if any other mason types exist, it’s time to claim. Though, seeing as we had two one-way mason arrangements, both of which were vanillas who could confirm power roles, I doubt we have any actual masons. This is also likely why the game is now speeding up. I have a feeling we are pretty much in endgame at this point. An endgame which could be a long and likely uneventful slog. But then, I also think peeker is the last scum in which case we should win this on Tuesday. ---

And with that, I have some information to share, too. I didn’t know this at the start of the claim, but my role is not just half-mason. Apparently, I’m the backup ranger: When **Gadarene** died, I inherited his special objects. I was not told how to use them properly, and as a result, I took suboptimal actions on the first two Nights I had them, but last Night, I used the Palantir that I got from him, and saw that **Hoopy Frood** took no actions. I do not know whether Sauron/ **Drain Bead** was allowed to act last Night (apparently, the Ring was destroyed at the beginning of the Night, so she might not have), and if she didn’t, then the one remaining Scum must have taken an action. Even if she was allowed to take an action, I see no reason why Scum would not have had **Drain Bead** make the kill while the roleblocker targeted someone else, so both Scum would still have taken actions. I believe, therefore, that anyone who took no action last Night is therefore Town. So add one more to the confirmed list. I’m guessing that **Guiri** is Sam, and that his role was backup-Ringbearer, not just half-mason. ---

I’ve been wondering who Sam was; I assume (like Chronos) that if Guiri knew who I was that he is likely Sam, and possibly the backup ringbearer. (“The” backup because it was Sam or no-one.) Chronos, when exactly did you learn that you were the backup Ranger? On voting. I’m not going to place a vote yet, because with the exposure of AR as one of SAHM, his claim to be Pippin is conclusively disproved; the lack of counterclaim over the last two Days is fair indication that Pippin isn’t in the game. If we have a townie Pippin, why did they not counterclaim? I’m highly suspicious of Peeker, for reasons that got covered at the end of Yesterday; namely he’s playing the slippery eel. _But_ I think OAOW is worth a closer look before I settle on voting. So I’m going to do a reread before I vote. ---
