Damn, I wonder why tel didn’t selfprotect last Night. Astral is number one on my susupicion list for toDay. Between a suspicious vote that could have been tryig to save a fellow scum and a couple of other posts that pinger me that where I’m pointing. I want to do a reread of him before I vote though. I’ll put somethign together Monday at work and see if I’m still suspicious. ---

Gondolin is probably not the answer you are looking for. Rivendell probably won’t sit too well, either. I suppose it depends, there’s really no indication that they are the same person. The true safe bet is that he was from Middle-Earth. I, however, would not trust anyone who claims to be Glorfindel in this game. I also wouldn’t trust anyone who isn’t me and claims to be Faramir. game state question for the players: do you think there are masons in this game? if so, how many? and for god’s sake don’t chime in with something along the lines of yeh i am one an there are x others. just a fucking general question to the crowd. **hoop** might be able to answer this based on balance and whatnot. ---

Well, to be more precise, nobody has reliably claimed a power role a power role that’s known to be active. And of course the Scum could have chosen to use their kill and powers (if any) on separate people, to maximize the chance of hitting (say) the Detective. The whole handshake business probably thinned out the unknown pool enough for the Scum to figure they have pretty good odds, that way. ---

I understand your point, and this is where we differ in our playstyles. Yes, I think it’s quite likely that they have it, but…and this is where I lose you, I’m not going to assume that they did. Hell, by that point, hadn’t I already posted my Vanilla PM? So, in theory, didn’t everyone have a copy of it? So, a Scum who may have had access to the Vanilla PM might not have gone to check on it exactly, and might slip. I mean, look at how Suburban messed up even with a basic format handed to him. Your assumptions are: 1. That is something is likely, then I will act as if it is true and ignore the fact that I could be wrong. 2. Scum will always act correctly and use all information available to them. I know that just because I think something is true doesn’t mean that it actually is. I also know that Scum mess up from time to time and do things even when they should have known better The fact that I’m really really really really really confident that there is but 1 Vanilla Role PM leads me to believe that no one who is questioning that repeatedly is themselves Vanilla. ---
