I’m vaguely tempted to vote for peeker and/or Ed just to stop the goddam BS posts. No peeker, vaguely coherent basically fluff is not graduate level mafia. Making yourself difficult to understand does not make you a better player, nor does it help Town. ---

Third, and I realize that you only have my word on this, if **Mahaloth** intended that Boromir know who Faramir is, or vice-versa, he would have just told you (considering that that’s how it worked with me). i understand that and i apologize for the frivolity, but not much. there is nowhere in my pm that states emphatically that faramir would be good in this game. shoot there is nowhere in my pm that states that faramir is in this game at all. i was just trying to follow canon a wee bit. and of the two of us i would suspect me before him is all i was trying to convey. this is a game mechanism that i have been toying with and it seems to play based on behaviors thus far. ---

Is it worth speculating on whether this game closely follows canon, and if so, which one? Does it follow the books more closely or the movie more closely? There’s some differences between the two. For example, bookFaramir is not really tempted by The Ring (he lets Frodo and Sam go), movieFaramir is tempted. Arwin’s character has slight changes between the book and the movie, too. (There’s probably more, I just can’t think of them right now.) If these characters are roles in game, knowing which canon was followed might have implications for these players. Maybe? Maybe not. ---
