According to [IMDB](http://www.imdb.com/news/wenn/#2) John Malkovich has signed on to play Lord Voldemort in the fourth Harry Potter. I think this is inspired casting and now, officially, can’t wait to see the fourth one. He has the ability, I think, to play pure evil, and with the right makeup can look exactly how I imagined. What do you think? ---

Certainly beats the Rowan Atkinson rumor from before. I thought that there was some Rowling stipulation that all of the actors had to be British or something? Perhaps it’s okay for evil to be American. ---

Malkovich Malkovich Malkovich? Interesting call, if it’s accurate. I know he can do evil, but doing evil in goofy clothes requires a diffrent skill altogether. ---

Voldemort has either broken his leg, or Cynthia Plaster Caster has returned. :eek: This is good news about Malkovich! I haven’t agreed with a lot of the casting choices, and Mr. Bean? That had to be a joke. I try to forget the movies when I read the books because the casting has gone so far against what my imagination gives me instead. ---

Generally I go by Greg’s Previews on Yahoo movies but I happen to be doing research at IMDb and thought it was pretty cool casting choice. I hope it’s correct. Considering Warner Brothers is denying it, I’d probably have to count this rumour as a steaming load. Ask yourself this question: How many American actors have been thus far cast in speaking roles in any Harry Potter film? ---
