The Cleveland Cadavers have already been mentioned, but the Cleveland football team is frequently called the “Brownies”, as in little girls not yet old enough for Girl Scouts, and, of course, the “Clowns.” There is a tv sportscaster here in Cleveland who refers to the Detroit Tigers as the “Motor City Kittties” which is a lot funnier when the Tigers aren’t in first place. ---

Kansas City Chefs (remember the Snickers commercial where the guy actually painted this on the field by mistake?) We call them the Oakland Rai\_ers…because they have no “D” Dallas Cowgirls, or CowPatties ---
