IIRC, they were on Oceanic Flight 815.

I would just like to commend the writer(s) for including a shaggy dog story in the script. A shaggy dog story about an actual shaggy dog.

Well, okay, it wasn’t a _pure_ shaggy dog story in that it did have a point after a fashion, but it was close enough to give me a chuckle of recognition.

I still have no idea what The Voices are saying. Does anyone have a good, crisp copy and a non-crappy TV that can make it out?

I thought it had been agreed on that the voices were saying “It’ll come back around,” just like Not-the-Other-Sawyer said to Our-Sawyer before he shuffled off the mortal coil.
