I’m pretty good at facial recognition (I’m almost never wrong in a dicussion about is that the guy from \_\_\_ ). That is not Mr Mapother. Or his cousin Mr Cruise.

I showed it to a co-worker who does not watch the show and he agreed with you.
He said it kind of looks like him, but is not him.

I think it looks more like Marjoe Gortner in _Earthquake_.
Talk about lost! That guy must be in one of the bunkers there. He certainly hasn’t been seen in Hollywood.

Slightly OT (different episode) but my wife just noticed something:
The riddle Desmond asked in the first episode this season (What’s black and white and red all over?) was also asked of Michael in his first backstory episode in Season one.
Wierd, but I can’t figure out what it means, if anything.

I’m not sure that’s not Ethan. Have a look at the eyebrows. Both of them have a little tuft of eyebrow right in the center. The nose looks different, but none of the ‘Ethan’ photos are taken at the same angle, so it’s hard to say.
It’s probably not him, but it _could_ be.

The TWOP recap mentioned that the exit from the medical facility had a sign over the exit reading “Escape Hatch.” Why not just “Exit”? Did they expect a serious enough need for people to escape the facility that they had to label it as such? Good thing, because that’s what it was used for, but still…

When comparing faces, I tend to look at noses and ears. Ethan’s nose has more of a curve to it. And the face of the guy from Locke’s anger management class doesn’t appear to have earlobes, and Ethan does. It may just be the quality of the photos, but I’d say that they aren’t the same person.
