Also, Sawyer was arrested from the middle of a barfight way back when. So he’s been in his share of altercations. ---

It does seem that the writers are trying to make AL more likeable, so maybe deflating Sawyer’s baloon a bit is part of the whole process of them manipulating us to their end. Maybe **we** are the ones who are Lost. ---

I had the exact opposite reaction to that scene. I thought Sawyer was holding back and intentionally not fighting Hurley - shown by the comical crawling out from under the tarp and getting sucked back in. I think you guys are forgetting that Sawyer has a masochistic streak, he feels some need to be punished for his sins as a con man. That was well-established in the first season. So even if it’s likely he could have beaten Hurley up, he probably preferred to let himself get beaten. ---

Anybody watch _The Daily Show_ yesterday? Rob Corrdry did a piece on discriminations against people like him, racists. The end of the piece had a huge list flash by of the races he hates. One of the entries was “TiVo List Pauser.” Farther down the list, it said “I thought I told you to stop pausing the list!” A few lines after, “What do you think this is? Lost?” and then a few lines more “4 8 15 16 23 42.” ---

The more I think about it, the more I think that Pseudo-Henry is the Head Honcho. Just think; last episode of the season, you have the Big Reveal, and lo and behold, Henry has been in control all along and walks away, his limp disappearing…(cue “The Usual Suspects” music) ---

I’m not saying that it’s for sure but they do look very similar. The shape of the nose and chin seem almost identical. Is it such a stretch? Nothing on this show is ever coinicidental. If you put pictures of the guy from Claire’s flashback against pictures of Zeke they look about as similar. It might be that the only reason it looks more obvious is because they showed us the beard and glue. ---

I don’t see any real resemblance between the two. On the other hand, there is the website that mentions “life extension” as a province of the Dharma Initiative. (Though the orientation film doesn’t list anything like that amongst the research areas.) …and the Blast Door Map refers to him as “Magnus Hanso,” which might be stretched as a reference to the alchemist Albertus Magnus – and immortality was a sometimes aim of alchemy. I think the “Magnus” is more likely a half-assed transliteration of “Alvar” into Latin, though – and not a proper noun but a [title](http://www.experiencefestival.com/a/Alvar/id/112028). My sister’s idea was that everyone is in the psych ward and having flashbacks on what happened on “an island” It’s part of huge experiment in mind control.
