Juliet’s getting marked? Will she be getting a Dharma brand, like the shark? Jack’s managing to shake things up pretty good on Othertraz. Although his plans are always without any real understanding of the consequences. I guess you can’t blame him too much, though – since nobody tells him anything but “It’s complicated”. Yeahhh! Nobody’s allowed to have tattoos but us, you stinky American! ---

Interesting… I think Jack is insisting on the tattoo because he’s been drinking. And now everyone hates him? What, is forcing someone to tattoo you on par with rape around here? ---

We were promised 3 big answers tonight, but I didn’t notice any. Did you guys? -Kids are still alive (we knew that) -Others have homes on the main island (we knew that) -We know what Jack’s tattoo means (did we ever care?) -Ethan was a surgeon (and?) -“It’s complicated” (UGH) Don’t get me wrong, I’m one of the people who are far too roped into this show to ever wise up and jump ship, but I’m really pissed that we were promised things that weren’t delivered. ---

Overall, a solid episode. But I really didn’t get the Tattoo thing. Okay, she makes sacred/magic tattoos. I’m down with that. Why couldn’t she sate Jack’s interest by just leaving out the “sacred” part. Why did Jack press to have one? Why did she give in? ---

At first I thought it was another part of the flashback and the ship behind Jack was off Thailand, but it was in a second shot as well. (with other people.) For those that didn’t see it, it was smaller than a cruise ship, but larger than any of the boats we’ve seen so far. Seemed sort of large yacht size to me. ---

The bit that most got my attention this episode: After throwing his accusations at the Others (in his cell), Bluebeard basically tells him that people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. What in the world has Jack, or maybe the Lostaways as a group, done that even comes close to what the Others have been doing? ---
