Lost in Translation insults japanese? Come on!

I’d hardly call a film that’s grossed less than $45 million dollars since it opened in September a wildly popular success, even for an ‘artistic’ film.

Tars, I’m no elitist, but you have failed to read your own previous posts before taking potshots. If the film ‘speaks to anyone who has been lost in a foreign country’ and yet doesn’t speak to me, a person who has been lost in a foreign country…

As for the Oscar award-- I think that award went to Coppola because her dad is in moves more than anything else.

Just chalk me up with this film’s detractors.
