dear straightdope… i subscribed today and it seems that i somehow lost my subscription, the boards are behaving as if i were a guest…this happened when i changed my email… please help? ---

So get into your CP and change the e-mail you have registered here and see if that fixes it? 😉 Or is that what caused the problems? Maybe e-mail \*\*TubaDiva \*\* and see if she can help you? Her e-mail is [tubadiva@aol.com](mailto:tubadiva@aol.com) ---

Another thought, check your e-mail and see if there is some kind of confirmation letter? Maybe you have yet to confirm the change? ---

also, as you can see, it no longer tracks my post count nor provides a location, and other member functions are disabled i’m in dope limbo!!! ---

Wait a bit and see if the reverifcation “takes”. Also, maybe log out, delete your cookie cache, and log back in to see if that fixes things? Write down **TubaDiva** ’s e-mail address just in case. Good luck. ---

Check bases with TubaDiva, I just saw that part. You are allowed only one username, so better let her know what is going on and get things straightened out. If you didn’t get banned with the other name things should be fine. I don’t know how they’ll fix things with your username situation, you paid for a subscription under this name? Good luck. ---
