A Public Service Announcement from the **Monstre[sup]TM[/sup]**
Somebody in the last Lost thread expressed a wish/hope/burning-desire to have links to all the Lost threads for this season posted in one place.

Thanks, Gaspode. So I watched the preview bit (and WTF does THAT mean?) and played around a bit. I seem to have found the seats for Charlie, Jack, Shannon, Boone, Rose, Kate and the Marshall (whoâs name is Ed, apparently. Did we know that?) When you click on their highlighted seats, you get a little character-specific graphic.
The trouble is, I canât figure out HOW Iâm getting the seats to highlight. It seems pretty random. Any clues on how this thing works?

How about a reiteration of the rules that have worked for us so well in the episode threads, since you have encouraged discussion of the season and speculation for next in this thread?

I havenât got a clue. I clicked around too, and it seems that when you click a certain passengerâs seat, e.g. Jackâs, another seat lights up. Some disappear, some stay. I have a feeling this is like the I-am-lost game, which will open up more with time. Or not.
The teaser and link to the other site⌠well. It doesnât help much, does it?
I bet theyâll wait till the end of Sept. before they get going again.

Well, since this seems to be the clearinghouse, Iâd like to ask a question about the way Shannon was treated after her âepisodeâ with Locke. Jin throws a punch at somebody on, like day 2, and spends the rest of the season with a handcuff dangling off his wrist. Shannon actually _shoots someone in the head_ and they give her a dog to nurture. WTF?
I apologize if this was discussed/clarified before, but I never get to watch the show until the weekend and by then the discussion thread is usually buried.

Good question, **Farmwoman**. I had simply dismissed it as prejudice. Foriegn guy canât evn speak english gets hammered, cute blonde chick gets a pass.
Now, tho, Iâm wondering. Shannon never paid any real consequences for her actions, since Boone was alway there to save her. Is there some reason to think that maybe she has some Hurly/Walt/Locke type powers of her own?

Kate got âshunnedâ as well, in episode 22, when Sawyer revealed to everybody else that she was the prisoner of the U.S. Marshall on the plane. But then in the finale (episodes 23-25) â which seems to be one day after ep. 22 â everything seems back to normal for her. No sideways glances, people avoiding her, running away.
It seems like the main âshunningâ that stuck for a while was Sawyer. But then he was pretty nonchalant about pissing people off early in the season.

I went on vacation and left Wednesday morning.
My primary VCR started eating tapes (well, crinkling them) so I set up the secondary VCr to tape (it isnât hooked up to the inpit I use it to watch tapes recorded on the primary VCR). So I hook it up to the antenna (I donât have cable) and make sure Iâm getting teh channels (I am). I tape âLostâ and somehow it recorded **cable** channel 19.
do I have to wait 25 weeks to see the finale??? arrg!
Looks like they reran it saturday - fat lot a good that did me, I was 1000+ miles awayâŚ

Yes, and thatâs stupid too. Sawyer and Kate can both pick some locks, and they should have the keys, anyway. However, give me enough time, and a few simple tools- and even I can pick a handcuff lock- if itâs there in front of me. So, the handcuff shoudl have been gone real soon. Not to mention- by now itâd be a medical problem.

Well, I donât know about having the keys, but yes, youâd think somebody would have picked it by now.
On the keys, remember the last we saw them was Kate pulling them **out** of the U.S. Marshallâs pocket when he got knocked on the head in the initial plane turbulence. She freed her own hands, then focused on the oxygen masks, both for her and for the marshall. She very well might have dropped the keys, in which case they could have ended up anywhere, including in the ocean.
Walt only found the handcuffs themselves, in the forest.

Whee, I just figured it out!!
press the numbers under the seat diagram in the right order, not the seats themselves. But the clip really doesnât tell you anything useful, and is slow to load.
