Monstre Theory #1: After 1977, they got blasted back to the present day island. Eventually they are going to do the REAL reset, which will put them back on the plane (hence they are flash forwards). Monstre Theory #2: After 1977, the reset worked. They ended up back on the plane in 2004. Eventually, the universe course-corrected their asses back to the island, hence the wake-up outside the Swan pit. Airplane/airport scenes are now flashbacks before the course-correction. Monstre Theory #3: The Incident split things into different quantum realities. Eventually this will de-stabilize the universe. To fix this, they will have to find Schroedinger’s Cat and kill the damn thing once and for all. ---

I can give a somewhat decent translation for the Korean being spoken, but they have subtitles for it. Some times those subtitles are off though. We need a Japanese translator bad. Perhaps it’s time for me to scour the internets and find a good translation of the dialogue. ---
