I miss buttermint lifesavers, a flavor apparently mostly lost to time. it was like a cross between a butterscotch candy and a starlight mint, IIRC came in a creamy green wrapper. ---

Stretching my own thread a bit with drinks… Funny Face - Preferred this over Kool-Aid Fizzies - Carbonated soda tablets. Kind of like giant Pop Rocks in tablet form. Rumor was if you swallowed one whole, your stomach would explode! ---

As a kid I loved Hostess Pudding Pies. Terrible for you but yummy. Also, I had a plush Choo Choo Cherry that I loved as a kid but ironically I don’t think I ever drank the drink he was a Mascot for. I wasn’t a kid but I miss Hersey’ Kissbles. Basically Kiss shaped M&Ms but they tasted better than M&Ms. ---

Funny Face originally had some flavors they decided to rename because they \*\*_might cause offense_ \*\* to certain ethnic minorities. :eek: F’rinstance, the Choo-Choo Cherry mentioned in another post was first called Chinese Cherry (which I loved). I mentioned Fizzies in another thread about things we remember from our childhood. My favorite flavor was root beer. I remember Hostess pudding pies, but I would love to have one of their glazed fruit pies right now, preferably Mixed Berry or French Apple. :o ---

There were these cookies that were almost like little candy bars. Four to five inches long, peanut butter center, some kind of crunchy enclosure, covered with chocolate. Can’t even remember what they were called, but they were good.
