There was a thread not long ago about the logo page that appears when you start Wikipedia. I now can’t find the thread and wonder if they ever decided on an answer. ---

That’s the one, but they got the wrong answer. It’s clearly one of the other answers, the Great Wall of China. I’ve located the exact angle view here for comparison. Yes, that’s goo advice, and in fact I had already posted to that thread, probably while you were composing your answer. Well, since I read the thread, including post #9, I was like the others who said no way is that a book. The link in #9 proves it’s not a book, and is actually the Great Wall. If you want to bet money on it, we can ask the Wiki folks. When I win, I will donate your bet to them. ---

No, it’s clearly, clearly, obviously a hardback book. I have absolutely no idea how anyone can see anything else. [Look at it](http://en.wikipedia.org/skins-1.5/monobook/headbg.jpg). Spine, binding, pages, tabletop, etc. Or are you referring to a different picture? If you aren’t, I’d be willing to take that bet. ---
