# Lost

For whatever reason, I never started watching _Lost_. Now I’ve borrowed the first season on DVD from a friend. I like it. So I looked at my cable menu to see what network it’s on so that I could perhaps catch up on the second season after I finish watching the first. Didn’t come up on the menu, but I googled and found that it’s on Wednesdays on ABC. I checked On Demand, and ABC isn’t available on On Demand.

So will _Lost_ reruns be broadcast? When? Summer? Anyone know when the DVDs will be available?

Did you try looking on a DVD website to catch the release date? If not, did you try [tvguide.com](http://tvguide.com) to find when it will air in re-runs?

Those are really better places to go than the Straight Dope for simple inquiries.

I think you can watch it on iTunes, but at a cost of two bucks per episode. The DVD probably won’t be released until September (based on the first season release). I suspect that ABC will rerun the show over the summer.

Last summer they ran the whole first season in reruns, and the DVDs came out in mid-September. I’d expect the same next year.

We just finished watching the first four episodes today (or first three episodes, if you consider the Pilot to be one). I’m really impressed, and am looking forward to the second DVD.
